- Notify if disposing of these items:
- Appliances: must notify prior to pickup and be placed separate from other items being disposed of; additional charges apply (up to $40 each)
- Air Conditioner Units (No freon): must notify prior to pick up and be placed separate from other items being disposed of; additional charges apply (up to $75 each)
- Tires: must notify prior to pick up and be placed separate from other items being disposed of; additional charges apply (up to $35 per tire)
MATERIALS NOT ALLOWED
- Any chemical or hazardous waste; check items for a poison, chemical or bio-hazard symbol on its label
- Propane tanks
- Shingles
- Concrete, asphalt, brick, stone
- Dirt or mud
- Paint
- More than 5,000 lbs of weight
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Chemicals, including fuels, cleaners, degreasers, oils, pesticides, acids, paints, etc.
- Radioactive material
- Auto body shredder wastes
- Explosives or combustible products
- Contaminated soil
- Liquid wastes
- Untreated infectious waste from commercial sources
- Commercial fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, mercury
